Common Mobility Card (CMC) Scheme launched: one card for Delhi Metro and DTC buses

The Delhi Government launched a new scheme called Common Mobility Card (CMC) Scheme to simplify city commute. Under the scheme single card called Common Mobility Card (CMC) can be used to board both Delhi Metro and DTC buses. The CMC will make commute in Delhi region more simple, convenient, seamless and cashless.

The Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Jejriwal flagged off the scheme by using his Common Mobility Card while boarding Delhi Transport Corporation bus outside his office at Delhi Secretariat.

Highlights of Common Mobility Card (CMC):

  • The card can be used to board Delhi Metro and DTC buses
  • As of now CMC card can be used in Delhi Metro, 200 DTC buses and 50 cluster buses
  • From 1st April onwards the CMC card will be functional in all DTC buses across NCR
  • Additionally the CMC card can be used with any mode of transport in Delhi that has electronic ticketing system
