The Delhi Government has launched Self Employment Loan Scheme for unemployed youth in the state. The state government will provide loans to purchase commercial vehicles & E-Rickshaws. The scheme is meant for jobless youth from Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Class (OBC), Minorities & Safai Karamcharis.
The primary objective of the scheme is to empower socially backward youth & their families. The Delhi self-employment loan scheme will provide financial help to earn livelihood for the poor families in the state. The scheme will create self-employment & employment opportunities.
Delhi Self Employment Loan Scheme: A Delhi Government scheme for the unemployed to provide loans to purchase commercial vehicles & battery operated e-rickshaws.

- Loans for purchasing commercial vehicles & battery operated e-rickshaws
Eligibility:
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Class (OBC), Minorities & Safai Karamcharis only can apply
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
- Applicant must have valid commercial license along with badge
- Applicant must be a resident of Delhi for last 5 years
- Income Limit: Annual income in case of SC/OBC must not be more than 3 lakh, Rs. 1.20 lakh for minorities & no limit for safai karmacharis
Required Documents:
- Voter ID card,
- Ration card,
- Aadhaar card,
- Caste certificate for SC & OBC applicants
- Certificate for safai karmacharis issued by the area Sanitation Superintendent
- Affidavit in case of minorities
Delhi Self Employment Loan Scheme Application Form:
Application forms are available at the below mentioned corporation offices for free of cost. Applicants can collect the form on any working day between 10 AM till 3 PM:
- Head Office: Ambedkar Bhawan, Sector 16, Rohini, Delhi
- Central Zone: 2 Battery Lane, Rajpur Road, Delhi
- West Zone: A 33-38, B block, Lal Building, Mongolpuri, Delhi
- East Zone: A-block, 1st floor, Bunkar Complex, Deputy Commissioner Office (North East), Near Gagan Cinema, Nand Nagri, Delhi
How to apply for Delhi Self Employment Loan Scheme:
- Go to the above mentioned corporation offices at the timings mentioned below
- Collect the application form for loans for commercial vehicles & battery operated e-rickshaws
- Fill in the form completely
- Attach the required documents & sign it
- Submit the form in the same office
