Free schooling and job scheme for orphans

To ensure welfare and benefit of orphaned, abandoned and surrendered children across the state.

Haryana government has released a notification regarding launch and implementation of ‘Free schooling and job scheme for orphans’ (HARIHAR scheme) in the state. This scheme is mainly for the children orphaned/ abandoned/ surrendered before the age of five and lived in child care institutions until eighteen years of their age. Under this scheme the beneficiary children will get benefits in education as well as employment. Under this scheme the children will get free schooling, higher education, technical education, skill development, interest free loan for purchasing a house n Haryana, etc. This is a welfare scheme for the benefit of the orphaned, abandoned and surrendered children.
