Punjab Government has announced 2nd mega job mela / job fair under it`s popular Ghar Ghar Rozgar aur Karobaar Yojana / Ghar Ghar Naukri Scheme. It is a state-wide job fair where government, public sector and private sector companies will be providing information about available job opening and updates. Students, employed and unemployed youth can visit the mega job mela to find the job opportunities which matches their education and criteria.
Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana 2nd Phase Mega Job Melas Highlights:
- Organised by Department of Employment Generation and Training, Punjab Government
- 45,000 jobs are on offer from various government departments, public sector and private sector companies in the state
- 73,200 applicants have already registered online using Ghar Ghar Rozgar portal (ggnpunjab.com or ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in)
- 140 events will be conducted in 56 venues
- 1689 employers/companies has posted 45,747 job openings/positions on the Ghar Ghar Naukri portal
- The mega job fair is free for all, applicants dont need to pay any fees for online registrations and job melas
- Its a one stop platform for employers/companies and people looking for jobs
- People can find jobs easily based on the their qualifications and requirements
- Companies too can find the bright talent which otherwise is tough to find
Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana 2018-2nd Phase Mega Job Fair Dates:
- Melas begins on: 20th February
- Ends on: 8th March
How to apply online or register for Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana? Interested candidates can walk-in to the nearest 2nd state-level job fair in their city or district, register themselves their and take part in the job fair. Alternatively unemployed citizens of Punjab can also register themselves on official Ghar Ghar Rozgar aur Karrobar portal and get updates on the job openings in the state.

STEP 2: Provide all your personal details along with educational details. Specify details of employment you are looking for and click on Register
STEP 3: You will receive OTP on your registered mobile number and email id, specify the OTP to complete the registration
STEP 4: Now CLICK HERE and login with your username and password
STEP 5: You can now find the list of jobs suitable for you and also apply for them
STEP 6: Choose the Mega Job Fair venue, date & time, companies to opt for and you will get a hall ticket
STEP 7: Download and print the hall ticket and take it to the venue along with you when you go for the interview
