The Punjab Government has launched an innovative scheme for unemployed youth in the state called Ghar Ghar Rojgar / Mega Job Fair. It provides a platform for employers and employees in the state. The Department of Employment Generation and Planning runs major hiring drives called Mega Job Fair in the state. They have also launched an official portal for Ghar Ghar Rojgar (Naukri) scheme: ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in Job seekers can register them selves online, and get details of the latest jobs, apply online for various jobs using the portal. Employers also can register on the portal and take government`s help to find good employees.

Mega Job Fair / Naukri Maha Mela Punjab: The employment department of the state organizes the employment fairs every month across various districts in the state. It provides a platform for both job seekers and employers to interact. Employers can find variety of talent at one place and can hire them. Job seekers finds all the available jobs in various sectors at one place. They can apply for job, take part in the recruitment process and get job offer on the same day in the Job Fair / Naukri Maha Mela.
Ghar Ghar Rojgar Yojana Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a resident of the Punjab state
- Educational Qualification: 10th/12th Pass, Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma Holders, ITI etc can apply
Ghar Ghar Rojgar Mega Job Fair Online Registrations:
STEP 1: CLICK HERE to go to the Ghar Ghar Rojgar official portal online registrations
STEP 2: Choose “Register as job seeker”
STEP 3: Fill in the online registration form completely, provide personal details, employment details, Address, bank details, employment details, mobile, email etc
STEP 4: Click on “Register” button
STEP 5: You will receive OTP on your registered mobile number, reenter it to verify, choose password to finish the registration
Ghar Ghar Rojgar Mega Job Fair Apply Online for Jobs:

STEP 2: Enter your username, password and click on “Login” button
STEP 3: Correct your profile if you want to make any changes
STEP 4: Choose the jobs you are interested in and apply for them. It will also provide you details of the interview venue, date and time
Ghar Ghar Rojgar Yojana Selection Process: The selection process depends on the recruiting company. But in general it will be three step process as mentioned below:
- Screening written test
- Interviews
- Group discussions
An applicant can apply for maximum three jobs under the Mega Job Fair.
