On December 21, 2021, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a scheme named Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Pathakam Scheme for the poor residents of the state. Under this scheme the state government intends to waive off the loans and interests on the house and land properties sanctioned by the government. The government would provide full property rights to the beneficiary on payment of a nominal charge. This scheme provides the beneficiaries with full property rights. It intends to ensure the poor with ownership of their houses thereby ensuring their welfare in the state.
