On July 22, 2021 the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has announced ‘Jivlag Yojana’ for the children in the state who lost their parents due to covid. This scheme is announced by NCP senior politician and member of parliament, Supriya Sule, on the occasion of birthday of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. It is launched mainly to support the children who lost their parents and are facing hardships in this pandemic period. While state government of Maharashtra is taking various measures to provide support to the families affected, this scheme would be an additional lifelong support and love to the children. This initiative would be undertaken through NCP Welfare Trust. Each NCP workers will be given the responsibility of 450 of these children. These workers will keep a check on everything the children need as well as the activities such as birthdays, parents teacher meetings, etc. This scheme will be undertaken as a social responsibility by the party thereby giving the required warmth to the children.

Scheme Details:
- On the occasion of birthday of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) started ‘ Jivlag Yojana’ for the children in the state who lost their parents due to covid

- Sule also stated that currently ruling Mahavikas Aghadi government is taking various measures to take care of the children thus providing them with financial assistance and this scheme will tend to provide lifelong support, love and warmth to the children thereby ensuring their overall welfare
