Hon. Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi inaugurated ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ on October 24, 2020 through video conferencing. This scheme is launched in Gujarat state. It will be implemented under the leadership of CMO Gujarat, Mr. Vijay Rupani. This scheme will cover the all the farmers in the state. Under this scheme electricity will be provided to the farmers for irrigation. Farmers will get the electricity supply form 5 am to 9 pm every day. Gujarat government has sanctioned a budget of Rs. 3500 crores for this scheme.

- Kisan Suryodaya Yojana is an initiative for the farmers in Gujarat state
