The Andhra Pradesh Government has launched a pension scheme for the weaker sections of the society called as NTR Bharosa Pensions (NBP) Scheme. Its a new pensioner scheme in the state which covers old aged, disabled, widow, weavers, toddy tappers, antiretroviral therapy (ART), CKDU. Monthly pension is given to the beneficiaries under the scheme. The primary objective of the scheme is to help vulnerable people live with dignity & pride.

Objectives:

- To provide financial assistance to take care of monthly expenses
- To make sure everyone lives with dignity & pride
Type of Pension under NTR Bharosa Pensions & Amount:
- Old Age Person: Rs. 1000 per month
- Weavers: Rs. 1000 per month
- Widow: Rs. 1000 per month
- Disabled (PWD <80%): Rs. 1000 per month
- Toddy Tappers: Rs. 1000 per month
- Antiretroviral Therapy (ART): Rs. 1000 per month
- Disabled (PWD > or =80%): Rs. 1500 per month
- CKDU: Rs. 2500 per month
Eligibility for NTR Bharosa Pensions: The basic criteria for the pension is the applicant must belong to the below poverty line (BPL).
- Old Age Person: Senior citizens with more than 65 years of age
- Weavers: Applicant must be more than 50 years of age
- Widow: 18 years & above
- Disabled (PWD <80%): Person with more than 40% disability
- Toddy Tappers: More than 50 years of age
- Antiretroviral Therapy (ART): Person underging ART treatment for more than 6 months are eligible
- Disabled (PWD > or =80%): Disability more than 80 percent
- Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown Etiology (CKDU): Patients undergoing CKDU treatment
Documents Required to Apply:
- Passport size photograph of the applicant
- Aadhaar card
- Savings banks account passbook
- Age & address proof
- For Handicapped: Disability (SADAREM) certificate
- For Widow: Death certificate of husband
- For Toddy Tappers: Certificate from the Cooperative Society
- For Weavers: Certificate registration from Co-operatives society of weavers
How to Apply for AP NTR Bharosa Pensions (NBP)?
STEP 1: NBP application forms are available with the Grama Panchayat, Mandal Parishad Development Officer & Municipal Commissioner Office. Collect the form & fill-up completely
STEP 2: Attach all the required documents to the application form, sign it & submit the form to the same office
The application forms will be verified by the Janmabhoomi Committees. Once the application is approved the eligible beneficiaries will be given the pension every month at the designated offices & time. All such offices are equipped with bio-metric card readers to identify correct beneficiaries. Door-step delivery of pensions is also done every month for the bed-ridden beneficiaries.

STEP 3: Enter your pension ID, ration card number, SADAREM ID & choose your district, mandal, panchayat etc & click on the Go button
