Government to provide unemployment allowance (berojgari bhatta) to the unemployed youth in the country

Central Government is to launch a scheme “Pradhan Mantri Berojgar Bhatta Yojana” for the unemployed youth of the country to provide a minimum pay as unemployment allowance. Under this scheme those candidates who are educated but do not have any job/ or are unemployed will be provided a minimum pay of Rs. 2000-2500 as allowance. This scheme will assist the unemployed by financial assistance and try to promote new employment opportunities.

  • Applicants must be resident of India
  • Should be Permanent residents of the concerned state
  • Age of Applicants should be from 21 to 35 years
  • Should have passed 12th and must have a graduation mark sheet

  • For enrolling, the applicants will have to visit the respective state government’s websites.
  • Official portal for this scheme from Central government is yet to be launched
  • Central government currently organised this scheme at state level.

  • In case of Hmachal Pradesh, one can visit the offical website – eemis.hp.nic.in and register
