Vidyarthi Suraksha Bima Yojana started by the state government of Madhya Pradesh for school going children’s. This scheme started implementation by the School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh. In this scheme, the government provides insurance for students who are studying in government schools in the Madhya Pradesh state. This scheme covers insurance on the death of a student due to an accident and Partial Disability due to an accident in the Madhya Pradesh state. Applicant should have to pay a premium of Rs. 1 per month under the insurance scheme. This insurance is available to schools, colleges or other educational institutions. The policy is issued in the name of the Institution. The claim amount is payable to the parent/guardian as recorded in the school register. All students are covered under this scheme. The main objective of the scheme is to protect and provide security with the help of insurance for the school going children’s. Benefits of Vidyarthi Suraksha Bima Yojana:
- The government provides insurance amount of Rs.10000/- for the death of a student due to an accident, Rs. 10000/- for the full disability and Rs. 5000/- payable for partial disability
Eligibility criteria for Vidyarthi Suraksha Bima Yojana:
- Applicant should be resident of Madhya Pradesh state
- Students should be studying at Government School
- Applicant should have to pay premium of Rs. 1 per month under the insurance scheme
Documents required Vidyarthi Suraksha Bima Yojana:
- Aadhaar card
- Death certificate of a student in case of death
- Medical certificate in case of partially and fully disability
How to apply for Vidyarthi Suraksha Bima Yojana:
- Applicant should visit School Principal or District Education for the application procedure and get benefits under this Vidyarthi Suraksha Bima Yojana
