The Delhi Government has made High Security Registered Number Plates (HSRP) on all the vehicles in the state. Delhi Transport Department has launched a website hsrpdelhi.com for online registration, online application and status check. Vehicle owners in Delhi can now apply online for High Security Registered Number Plates (HSRP). Both 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers needs to have HSRP number plates. The decision is taken after the directions from the Supreme Court.
New vehicles will be given High Security Registered Number Plates (HSRP) at the time of registration but all the old vehicles needs to replace their old number plates with the new High Security Registered Number Plates. These are highly secure, tamper proof number plates. The registrations for the HSRP started from 12th October 2018. Delhi has 40 lakh vehicles which are not HSRP. The government is working in phases to replace all of them.

How to apply online for High Security Registered Number Plates (HSRP) in Delhi?
STEP 1: CLICK HERE to go to the HSRP Delhi website
STEP 2: Click on Book HSRP plate appointment & pay fees online
STEP 3: HSRP Fittment Appointment Booking page will open, provide details such as vehicle registration date, registration number, chassis number, mobile no, CAPTCHA and click on Generate OTP button
STEP 4: Re-enter the OTP to complete the registration
STEP 5: Appointment details will be sent to you after the HSRP vendor sends your details to the Transport Department
How to check HSRP number plate status online?
All those who have registered / applied online for HSRP number plate can check HSRP application status online at hsrpdelhi.com

STEP 2: Click on Check HSRP Plate Status option
STEP 3: Enter the Registration Number and click on Search button
Based on the HSRP application status, vehicle owners needs to go to the affiliation center on the mentioned date to install HSRP number plate on their vehicle.
