Maharashtra government announced a new scheme named Reasonable Housing Scheme for providing houses to the corona warriors at reasonable prices mostly in Navi Mumbai. This scheme is a gesture to show token of gratitude to the corona warriors i.e., doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, sanitation workers, food supply workers, armed forces, fire brigade workers etc., for relentlessly working and providing their assistance throughout the pandemic. This scheme aims at covering all the covid warriors domiciled in Maharashtra. Interested individuals will have to apply to avail the benefit under this scheme. About 4488 houses are available to be provided to the beneficiaries at reasonable rates. This scheme would ensure a small assistance to the beneficiaries in buying new homes.
