To enable financial assistance through scholarship for welfare and empowerment of girls in Jammu & Kashmir

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, i.e., March 8, 2021 Jammu Kashmir government came up with a scholarship scheme for meritorious girls in the state thereby focusing on women empowerment. Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Singh announced the Super-75 Scholarship scheme for meritorious girls belonging to poor financial background. Main aim of the scholarship would be to provide financial assistance to the girl students so that they can pursue higher studies and become independent. It aims at encouraging girls to study further without any financial difficulty thereby leading to their welfare and empowerment.
